Hi⁠, I’m Jeff. I have been sharing original magic for over a decade—I wrote a recurring column in Genii and sold products with Paul Harris Presents and Penguin Magic. After graduating from the University of Illinois with a manufacturing-related degree in 2016, I put that education to work and started Plainsight.

With a talented team of engineers and artists, we design, manufacture, and market a collection of James-Bond-like gadgets for magicians. We do whatever is necessary to create amazing magic: our first three products use injection molding, CNC machining, and lost-wax casting. We endlessly pursue great ideas and set ambitious constraints on each project. For every product we sell, we kill three others—because they weren’t good enough for you.
